Got all the parts today including the Maglite 2C bodies, and construction commences tomorrow. Just thought a certain 24 patiently waiting CPF'ers might like to know...

Word on the street is that this batch of custom made lights are the absolute brightest and whitest 5 watters that you have ever made, and that's saying something given your reputation!

I got a chance to see a Bin #W3U high dome on the star board in action from an interior lighting designer. I asked if he would sell it for $100, his reply was more like $300. I can not belive it! he just carries this thing around in his briefcase with a portable power supply to show customers. He has not used it because it can not match it up with other leds in his stock and has absolutely no interest in flashlights.


I am still applying some gentle pressure. Maybe I can get him to part with it.
