Hi All,

When I carried a 1xCR123 light, I had a nice delrin capsule with a screw top that I could keep on my keyring to carrry a spare 123. Now I'm carrying the NiteCore EC2 which is 1x18650 or 2x123. I'm looking for a solution for carrying a spare 18650 in my pocket.

Anyone have any good solutions that work for them?

Thanks,
ThumperACC

I'm using a small size heavy-duty ziplock bag that some small parts came in, and it just happens to fit the 18650.
I put it in my pocket.
Light, doesn't add any real bulk, and does the job.

I'd be interested in hearing some more elegant solutions, though.

Those orange Coleman match holders that you see in the camping section at Wal-Mart, etc. fit an 18650 pretty nicely.

+1 and the matches are just a bonus. They cost $1.00 here.

i picked up a few of these from REI for about a buck 50 each. length wise it fits a 18650 perfectly... width wise, its inside diameter is about 20mm. also, its waterproof.

but i think the best carry solution would be a compact 18650 light. if you carry a back up battery, might as well carry a back up light.
