I have an Ultrafire WF-500. I'd like to be able to be able to switch it back and forth between an incan to a LED, and have it so that it could be quickly switched at any time.
- Is there a drop in LED module that would work without other modifications to the light?
- If so, how would I know which one to purchase (I'd like the most powerful one possible).
- The WF-500 has an orange peel reflector that I'd very much like to replace with a deep shiny "long throw" reflector for both LED and incan.
- OR -
- I have a second, brand new WF-500 on the shelf. Would it be better (or even possible) to convert one to LED permanently, and forget trying to make it switchable?
- I am pretty much a dufus and totally inexperienced at modding flashlights, I am hoping these things can be done by simply interchanging parts, without a lot of cutting, wiring, soldering, being smart, etc.
