So, I ordered a Byrd Starling the other day from here. I thought, Spyderco and 8Cr13MoV for $10? Oh, how could I resist. I'm thinking keychain knife, neck knife? There's been about a million times where I could've used a two-incher for something and I didn't have it on hand. >.<

When it arrives, pics and tests. Until then, discuss small Spyderco's, whether I made a good purchase, what you think of Lighthound, etc.

Spyderco probably makes the best small folders around. Cricket, Spin, Jester, Ladybug, Starling, Poliwog, Navigator, Co-Pilot, Lava... you can't go wrong with any, or ALL of them... The Cricket and Spin are personal favorites of mine. The surprising bit is that even the tiniest of them are still usable, one-handed even if you are dexterous enough.

Lighthound's great but I always order from NewGraham or Grand Prarie.

Oh, but no, there are others... such as the Spyderco Mini Police necklace in Ti... a real working knife, small enough to look like a pendant. 3" OAL, which would make it smaller than the Starling by 1 3/8"

Recieved my knife today. I like it a lot - but it took me a good 20 seconds to figure out how to close it :ohgeez: It feels a little slippery in the hand, typical of little knives without rubber scales. Looks great next to my Fauxton on my keys.

Pix to come - camera won't connect w/ my computer. :/
