If you look closely at "normal" P4s, there's at least a third bond wire that connects to the die carrier right next to the die itself. My guess is Seoul Semiconductor just decided to relocate those wires to the same attachment points that Cree uses, since they use Cree's E-series emitter die. That would be a good thing if it means the die carrier is no longer electrically charged like it used to be on older P4s, and otherwise it at least wouldn't be a bad thing.
