I have one of the older ones and its not all that great. It rolled off my waist high bed onto thick padded carpet and broke!! Now the legs do not snap in and stay locked at all:thumbsdow.

The joby Gorillatorch tripod is a MUCH better type of task-light. I just got one and will be posting up some impressions in the next day or two.
