Steam engine generator light output??

Help, I rewired a small stepper motor thats now is the generator powered by a steam engine I built. Output is
1.6 VAC and 241 MA. Question: To put on the most impressive
light show with my limited power,LED's?? Thanks, Gerry

How about a transformer to raise the voltage, to several volts P-P, the rectify it (to DC) and drive some of the self flashing multi colored LEDs?

OK--Added rectumfrier and increased RPM, NOW: 4.2 VDC 223 MA

how do you measure the amps?
