step 2 led light

I put a nite-eyes led in my AA mag lite and like it a lot. Question is, what is a good brand and recomended model for my next one. I would like to stay with two AA's if I can. Under $50? There is way too much info. here and I am going into overload. Point me in the right direction!

For a bit above $50 the L2D-CE(Review1, Review2) will be great ($56.50 at fenix store, then use the cpf8 Discount code for 8% discount, and free shipping). Amazing brightness, brighter then the Surefire L2 but has an easy to use User Interface. And you can buy different bodies for different uses. The Fenix P2D-CE and L1D-CE use the same head as the L2D-CE.

For cheaper, go for something on Dealextreme or Kaidomain, both are having server problems right now.

Just as some pointers, Cree and Seoul are the 'new' craze, twice the efficiency as Luxeon LEDs.
