A week or two ago I posted about the failing tailcap on my early-generation Surefire L4. I did follow a suggestion on a temporary fix by using a little lube, which helped (not a permanent solution because the tailcap could always seize up again and the lube will deteriorate the rubber boot).
I'm happy to report that Mr. Greg Lin of Surefire responded today to my email of last week. Surefire is sending me a replacement tailcap. Good to see that their customer service and warranty can still be relied on.
