It was more than that. Its been a while, but it replaced most of whats in the head of the tube. I don't remember if there was an optic, but it went as far as an aluminum heatsink.

Very small production volume.

I talked to Gene about a week ago about one of the P4 Maglite upgrades. I believe he is in the process of moving his business out of his house and into a proper business location. Sounded like he had a lot going right about now.

But only if it'll run on 2xAA NiMH cells.

Yup, he sent me 2 of those HS but to find a suitable driver with that kind of diameter is PITA.
