Stonewash finish

I plan on using this machine to stone wash a few blades, maybe a stainless steel pen too. I would try it on my beat up Streamlight Microstream before I try it on a more expensive light, just to see if the electronics still work.

I know you can stonewash with water and fine stones in the machine, but is it possible to stonewash with no water?

Why not remove the electronics, reflector and lens before you stonewash the body?

Maybe put some cotton balls inside of the tubes with a bit of tape on the ends to keep the insides clean and neat.

I don't have the 4Sevens yet but I'd imagine its like all my lights..impossible to take apart?

I also plan on doing another light
It's a Nitecore EX11...I have no idea how to take the electronics/led/reflector out.

You just need a good set of strong picks to put in the holes of the driver/lamp/heatsink assembly to reverse it out.
