I have a plastic tube that I use to store batteries in the fridge.

Is it ok to store say, a Li-Ion, and a NiMH touching in series?

So I guess to further detail my question, different chemistries/different voltages and same chemistries/different voltages (charge state) in series?

I don't see any possible problem. Just make sure that the two opposite end/polarity won't short out.

Right, so long as nothing is making a circuit and drawing current, it doesn't matter what touches end to end? Thanks!
