Streamlight Scorpion + IMR16340 + TL3 bulb (Update Indoor Beamshots)

Decided to try this combo out, and I am pleased to say it is noticeably brighter than the stock combo of cr123's and bulbp), + it is rechargeable now!:thumbsup:

The beam isn't all that nice, but the focus-ability of the Scorpion makes it one decent little thrower. It puts more light on further targets than my Fenix L2D Q5, and when going up against my 6P + LF IMR9, it is brighter in the center, but get stomps on sidespill at 75ft.

This setup is going to stay by the bedside for bump in the night, and the 6P IMR9 is going next to the L2D Q5 in a speed holster on the duty belt.

Stay tuned for beamshots tonight once things die down a bit on shift.

I'm looking forward to the beamshots. The Scorpion is a nice light, but it doesn't get a lot of love around here compared to the G2 and 6P.

Where are the beam shots???

I'm really interested in this mod. What kind of run-time are you getting with it?

Outdoor beamshots here shortly, I haven't had the chance lately but soon. Runtime should be about 25 minutes.

Here are some indoor. Distance about 17ft Exposure 1/20 with auto white balance.

Scorpion with TL3 Bulb powered by 2 energizer cr123s

Scorpion with stock bulb and same batts as above

Scorpion with TL3 Bulb powered by 2x AW IMR 16340

Looks like you've increased the output some with the 16340. I look forward to the outdoor beamshots!
