What you think, this is the lens of my Streamlight Scorpion……….MELTED

I was on my way home, its in the nylon holster, I believed is my sit belt to switch it ON

I've had this happen too, but in my case I found it sooner (I could feel the heat) and it only melted the holster onto the lens. It wasn't too bad and I have others so I just moved it to a "in the drawer" type flashlight and put a new on in my holster (still with hole).

Speaking of which, anyone know how to get the lens out of the Scorion? It isn't obvious to me.

If we could remove it, it's possible we could replace it. I've found this link for synthetic Saphire watch crystals.

This stuff is nearly impossible to scratch.

I am lucky, because of StreamLight's Warranty, I got my Scorpion lens replaced.

It can back on duty !!

Did you replace the lens yourself, or did they do it?

I send the Scorpion to a Authorized Service Center and get the job done at NO charge
