I've discovered a hardware store that has two old Streamlight SL-3DX flashlights, still "new" in the packaging. These things have to be at least 20 years old, probably more like 30. They take 3 D cell alkaline batteries and regular PR bulbs. If the dimensions aren't much different, I'd like to use these as hosts for my next projects instead of Mags just for the novelty.
I've searched CPF and streamlight.com and still haven't been able to identify the diameter of the lens & reflector and the inner diameter of the battery tube.
If anyone has this information, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
