Streamlight stinger HP LED upgrade

I just bought a terralux streamstar HP TLE HP3 upgrade, it's the newer 180 lumen version, it's bright but has a nasty hole in the middle of the beam I'm unable to focus out. Anyone else have any experience with this or advice on how to remedy it
