Streamlight TL-2...On the way...to me...

Well, just checked the tracking, and my new Streamlight TL-2 is enroute, with a Monday 07-14 delivery date.

This is a brand new, somewhat elusive light from Streamlight for the already crowded 2 lithium cell powered field.

I have no preconceived expectations for this light, which may be a good thing...

I ordered one yesterday from Botach Tactical. They have them in stock and available to ship. I won't get mine until 7/15:

Yeah, too bad...I prefer to order from CPF supporters (as I am afraid that they can all attest to by now).

Because they had it on their web site, and when I sent them an email, they replied back within 15 minutes confirming that it was in stock ready to ship. I don't really like to call dealers on the phone...I like to order stuff off of the web.

Is there a particular reason NOT to order from that dealer in the future? Like I said, I try to do most of my business with CPF supporters if possible. A quick sweep of those web sites does not show this light being available AT ALL. Maybe if I call them it is available, but I prefer not to have to do that.
