You're welcome, Jim. Now why didn't I see that when I ordered a bunch of stuff yesterday?

This is what streamlight says:

tasklight info

Not sure of the accuracy. I got the 3C because it's got an extra mode and a very long runtime on the leds. I've had it for a while and haven't had to change the batteries yet.

It's not as small as the 2L, but it has the added benefit of being able to give something or someone a good whap if need be. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I received the first lights I ordered from Botach, a TT1L and a TT2L.

I am very pleased with both. I think that either will be satisfactory for a carry light. I had hoped that the TT1L would equal or exceed my Brinkham 2AA light, and it does exceed it. The LED is plenty bright to walk by, and the Xenon has a good beam, and is better than the Brinkham.

The TT2L is better at short to medium range than my Mag 2C light. The Mag has a tighter beam, and for long range does show up better, but the wider beam of the TT2L is much better at medium ranges. In fact, I think that it is as bright as my Mag 3C until the ranges get long.

All in all I am glad that I bought them, and they will make good presents. I am going to keep at least one of each, of course. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It seems to me that they will be more useful in general than my Pelican M6 or SF E2e, though they significantly are brighter.
