Just wanted to see how many other twin task owners are out there. I've been so impressed with mine, especially the price. I keep it around the house and use it all the time. The led mode is great for walking through the house at night or close up work. The led's provide plenty to see without hurting night vision. The xenon mode is super bright, brighter than my old E1e. As a matter a fact it easily blew my E1e/KL1 combo away for ease of use and value. Ease of use being I only have to click a switch versus swapping heads.

Mine: SL TT 1L in Titanium
Mothers: SL TT 1L in Black
Fathers: SL TT 1L in Black
Mothers friend: SL TT 1L and 3C both in Titanium

I like the LED even though it has a slight tint of blue and plus everyone think my SL TT 1L is the bomb (especially in the field during a training ex.)

I have the 2L in titanium. I absolutley LOVE this light. It's the perfect size/weight for camping and hunting. The LED's get used 90% of the time. They are plenty bright for most tasks, and have super low draw. The xenon is there and amazingly bright if you need it. I'm so impressed with my 2L, that I will be getting a TT 3C to keep by the bed, and a 1L to keep in my wife's car. I'll keep the 2L in my truck then.

I have the 3C. Likewise very impressed with mine. Great value for the money, cannot believe what I paid for it at BrightGuy, it was a steal...

[/ QUOTE ] LOL, I feel the same way.

Oh yeah, I got mine in titanium. I handled the black but didn't much care for it. The titanium is sweet, easier to find in the dark too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I plan on getting another, probably 2L. One for me and one for my dad.

Has anybody else noticed the knurling, O-rings and threads? Superb aren't they.

You'll love the 2L. Yes, I have noticed the quality of the build. The light really seems like it should have cost much more.

I have the TT-3C and the Xenergy AL-606.

The AL-606 is a 2x123 version of the TT-3C. It looks similar to the TT-2L but switches 3 LEDs, 6 LEDs, and Xenon like the TT-3C.

Someone needs to compile a list of how all of the Twin Task lights switch!

TT-3c...3 LEDs, 6 LEDs, Xenon, off
AL-606..3 LEDs, 6 LEDs, Xenon, off

1L in Titanium - 'click' LEDs 'click' off 'click' Xenon 'click' off

2L in Black - exact same switch pattern

3AA in Black - as above

3C in Titanium - 'click' 3 LEDs 'click' 6 LEDs 'click' Xenon 'click' off

I prefer the switch arrangement of the three smaller lights. I EDC either the 1L or 2L as my primary light. I may see if my Dad would be interested in owning the 3AA, as I can't quite decide how it fits in. I keep the 3C in my truck for jobsite use or emergency roadside use.

Indeed, they seem like they should have cost quite a bit more. In fact I have said before, and say now: I consider these lights to be the biggest bang for the buck of what is available right now! (Particularly the 2L!!!)

I own a TT 1L in black.

I'm fairly impressed with the light, espically the LED output. The light has very good output in both modes for its size. The build quality seems to be very high. It is kind of amazing that my 1L was just over a third of the cost of my E1e.

I have SL TT 1L and 2L, both in Titanium.
Ditto the above remarks regarding price, quality, and finish. Neither of mine focuses to any noticable extent; and if they hadn't been advertised as focusable, I would not have been dissappointed. The 2L is my favorite, but due to the swithing sequence neither is likely to see any significant use. (I would give one or both to my GF, but her purse is already too heavy from the other things I've given her.)

I guess I am a bit spoiled spoiled.

TT 1L Titanium
TT 2L Black

Works great, may get more soon....

Most of the time, you don't need such a bright light, that uses up the battery, for such a long period of time. Just use the xenon first, and then switch to LEDs.

No complaints whatsoever for the price.

3C
2L
1L
3AA
All in the silver finish. I love these lights.

TT-1L

- Good bang for the buck.
- Brighter output than E1e, but lower beam quality.
- Never carry mine around, too big for EDC, I already spoiled and get used to SF elite series diameter and weight...
