Strengthening Metals

Is it possible? To be exact, its Titanium. It was the Ti clip for my Longbow. I just got a PR head for my light and that caused it to be a very tight clip, so I decided to widen/bend the clip. I bent it only on the already made bends but now the clip is much flemsier. While still plenty tough, its just much more flemsier. Can I strengthen it with high heat then cooling it off instantly? I thought I heard that helps. Thanks,

You could try it but may instead make it brittle if you quench it too fast. Are you sure it is a titanium clip?

Yea. I got it from bugoutgear.com. It was extremely strong and ultra light. I would say its lighter than the screw that holds it in.
