Just curious how most strike bezels in 'nicer' lights (eg: surefire) or custom lights interface with the head and window. Do they contact the window? Are they insulated from it via o-ring, or are they completely out of contact with the window (typically, of course)?

They are usually what keeps the window in place (lens if your from 'round here), in most cases the lens oring is behind the glass and the bezel pushes the glass against the oring. I didnt explain it all that well but you get the picture....right?

:D

Anyways, thank you Nemo for clearifying that the strike bezel is typically the lens retainer as well.
