Stryker 3W Luxeon 2xCR123 Light

I got one of these at Fry's yesterday, just cause I wanted to test it out.

It was $50 and is very bright. Pretty comparable with the SF E2e that I already had. More focused to the center, but lights up a room pretty well when used inside.

The package claims that the lense is made of polycarbonate. If it's the same stuff as my Vitamix blender container is made of, it's gonna hold up real well.

The clip is a little excessive in size and shape but actually works better than others for easily clipping to the pocket. And it's reasonably easy to remove.

I had been watching these for a while now .. wish they would make one with a cree emitter.. I really like the looks of them..
Especially with the TID attachment..

Basically Frys is like a huge warehouse type electronics store. Every geek loves frys.

They pretty much have ALL your electronic needs and office furniture.

The Frys I visit is only 4 miles from my house:twothumbs.

Can this light take 2 rcr123 3.6 volts or is this to much voltage because this light is really nice the anodizing seems like type 3 but not sure. This light is one light that if it didnt say made in china you would swear it was made in the US. (unlike fenix lights that are good quality but you can tell its made in china) For $24 at fry's the aluminum incandesent version is a pretty good price I moded mine with a p60 type led dropin and am looking for a second stryker.
