What is fivemega?

They seem to be the choice for most in AA-D adapters, but I haven't found a site or thread that gives ordering information.

What other readily available 3AA->D adapters are available?

Fivemega is the username of a forum member who does high quality custom work, and also builds and sells replacement parts, bodies, battery tubes and holders, that sort of thing.

Probably lots of other clever stuff too actually :)

Slightly less finished, but cheaper.

I don't recall any other holders currently available being recommended. (Some cheap 3AA->1D are available, but have poor quality and high resistance. They aren't suitable for a high powered flashlight.)
