I'm planning on going to Anchorage in a couple days to try find the best Subaru I can afford and with the wide range of knowledge and experience here on CPF, thought it would be fun to start a thread on Subaru's for general knowledge dissemination and opinion or experience sharing.
The models I'm considering are the Forester, Impreza Hatchback and Outback, with a preference for something after the turn of the century, although I'll probably find myself in the 90's.
My biggest concern really is having a decent amount of space in back, enough to sleep in and still carry a pretty good load. For now I'll leave it at that and see what kind of responses come through.
Love to hear some Subaru stories, both good and bad, as long as you can make them interesting!
