I have searched and poured through everything I could regarding the Rayovac Industrial light. Not sure I found what I was looking for, maybe you folks could help.

I would like to turn this light (if possible) into something that has more output than stock without melting it, or maybe longer runtimes. All with being cheap ..... always the money thing aint it? I'll figure out what I might do based on your suggestions.

Some of the ideas for 2D lights were:
1)Cram 3C batteries with a 3 cell bulb
2)Use a 2AA bulb with the stock 2D battery configuration.
3)AA to D adapter with different bulb.
4)123 lithium to D adapter setup with different bulb.

The one I have is orange, made in the USA, suitable for mining environments (MSHA approved), etc, etc.

Let the suggestions begin.

The 3x123 with a KPR112 from radio Shack or a 5 cell Krypton bulb or a 6 cell Xenon will make your light nice and bright. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinser2.gif

I've done a couple of these with the KPR112. These are similar to the 2C mag mod. The light is so light that it feels like it's empty.
