Suggestions please...

I already did the search and there are countless hit's on M@GLite Configurations. What I am looking for is a good M@GLite Platform that will give me more punch than the TigerLight I already own with at least an hours runtime or close to it. I will use this high output torch to compliment what I already use to run my dogs so I can keep tabs on them. Any suggestions? Is there a popular size to go on e.g. 2c, 3c, 4d or M@Charger?

I would say up to $75. I already have (2) universal NiCAD/NiMH Smart Charger capable of charging 8 cells simutaneously. I would be willing to go the aluminum reflector route a long with the high output "WA" Lamps.

Your 1 hour runtime limit becomes impossible without going considerably larger than the Tiger.

The options which are easily (relatively) available:

Magcharger 1160: Somewhat brighter, less than one hour runtime with stock battery. Approx. one hour with 4000Mah cells now available.

Mag85 or Magcharger85: MUCH brighter than stock Tiger, approx. 30 to 40 minutes runtime on high capacity high discharge cells.

Both of the above are in a Mag 3D size body.

If you go larger, you can get more runtime or more light, but there isn't a lot you can do otherwise.

You mean by larger, a larger Mag Body e.g. 4D?
