Supertactical.com and the Ultrafire EMR1

I have two questions for all of you out there in Lightland. I just ordered a Surefire EMR1 from supertactical.com. First of all, does anybody own this light? I would like to hear some impressions of it. I ordered it out of curiosity and because it was cheap! I own one other UF light, a C2, and it is a mediocre, poorly made light, but I thought I would give them another shot. Second question is concerning Supertactical.com themselves. I ordered the light on Monday. There was a problem with the checkout on their webpage and the shipping charges did not carry over when I went to pay. I sent them a separate payment later on that day after they sent me an email. I have been emailing them since to verify if they received my shipping payment. They do not respond to emails and my order status still shows as "pending" and that they are waiting for the payment for shipping. Have any of you done business with them and are they a reputable dealer? I probably should have asked this question before I ordered I know, but any help would be appreciated!

I've purchased a few items from ST and things have gone pretty well.

I think you meant an 'Ultrafire' EM1R, yes? I have one too and like it but it's no Fenix.

Most impressive was when I bought a Hyperion CE light that was defective. Emailed ST, shipped it back for $3.00 and as they were Out of Stock, received an immediate credit on paypal!

All in all, not bad.

Yes, I did mean Ultrafire!!!! I am sure calling an Ultrafire a Surefire on this forum is going to get me banished for life!. I appologize everybody so please be gentle!!

Oviously not too many folks shop at Supertactical or have this light. That actually answers both of my questions!

I have the EMR1 Rebel and am very happy with it. It is not a Fenix (or Surefire: )
I think the lumens might be exaggerated but it has been reliable...makes a good gift IMHO. And it blows the socks of anything the average joe has seen at ACE Hardware in that size.

I bought a Hyperion CE-R from Supertactical and as a matter of fact I had some initial slack (problems with checkout, late answer to emails) then they picked up speed and everything worked out properly.

I will buy again from them but next time I will take into account that they are not the fastest people on earth....

That is the problem I am having with them now. I have sent them 3 emails for an update on my order and have not received a response. I am going to send them a 4th today and tell them to cancel my order and refund my money. Maybe that will get a response. Regardless of the outcome of this transaction, I will not make another purchase from them. The product and customer service go hand in hand in my book, and if you can not deliver both, I do not do business with you!:scowl:
