I got my E2 this morning! It really is a great flashlight. Worth every penny. I ordered mine from Tim. Super fast shipping. Very satisified. Thanks Tim!
The manual does mention the MN03 lamp that has a runtime of 3 hours at 25 lumens. I wouldn't mind having one of thoes. Until they are available I think it would be easy enough to take a dead E2 lamp and just pop an LED in it. I was thinking I might order the high brightness E2 lamp after my regular lamp dies. How long is it supposed to last anyway? It looks like you could just remove the dead bulb and solder in an LED. There is even room for a resistor in the little space between the bulb and contact. It would be kind of nice to have the choice between a half hour at 100+ lumens or many hours of LED light depending on the circumstances.
