I can get one of these brand new for $100. I have been on the fence about buying one but now I might.

Would you jump on this deal?

Do you intend to use it every night?
If you are currently using a rechargeable flashlight, then yes, but if you are happy with using non-rechargeables then perhaps not.
What is your expected application?

hi,
the 9an is a great light !!!. buy it and try it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif if you don`t like it, sell it on B/S/T. it`s even a greater light when you use it with a custommade 3.3 ah nimh batterie stick.
(if got 2 9an, one ha3 and one blk, both with sanyo 3,3 ah sticks)
greetings from germany /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Christian,
Did you make your battery sticks or did you order them? I have been wanting replacements for my B90 sticks. Also, do you still use the OEM charger?

make'em yourself, for the 9an, it's just 3 sub c cells stacked together w/ a 9 volt tip on the soldered on top of the first battery.

Lonewolf, does the $100 deal include a charger or just the light? I have a 9N(T) and love it, but it is not a small light when compared to something like the SL Strion or SF 6P.

I'm so glad I've got one. It was a find I just had to buy. Of course, back then I next had to find a 9N for it!!
The 9NT produces the fantastic beam!

It took me literary ages to track down a T3 for my 9N and I am glad to have found one of them /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif
