surefire anodizing question

just wondering if the surefire c2 bk model has the same anodizing 2 finish as the 6p or z2. ive seen some pictures where the c2 bk looks more like the E-series anodizing finish, matte black not shiny black. please help! need clarification. thanks!

The C2-BK (Shiny one/normal model) has the same finish as the 6P/Z2. There are several special batches of C2's made for special purposes, and in limited numbers. I've seen the Taurus, Emerson, and Remington C2_BK-HA's...that's about it, AFAIK. These special/limited edition C2-BK-HA's are Type-III and hold up pretty good. The finish on My C2 "Emerson" actually seems of better make than that on my Kroma.

The convention is "-HABK" to refer to Type III Black rather than the standard Type II Black "-BK".
HABK is used where there have been versions made in both type II and type III (HA).

Add Smith & Wesson to the Taurus, Emerson and Remington 'special editions' of the C2-HABK
