Ok I need some Surefire G2 or 6P carry options. The surefire holsters are like 25+. I think thats crazy. Is there any other ways of carrying this light IE other holster brands or pocket clips? Anyone have this flashlight or any ideas please let me know.

I got a pepper spray holster at a local police supply store. It fit my G2 perfectly. I think it was $10 or less. It had a flap that covered the bezel and was held closed with velcro. It had a metal clip that could be slipped on your belt without removing it.

I picked up a real nice BBC holster with the permanent belt loop and velcro flap at my local surplus store in the LEO section for about $10. I love it because I have a problem with clip-ons falling off my belt all the time.

Yeah I like the permanent belt loops better myself.

I was browsing the Surefire Korea site and noticed on their site they sell Kydex holsters for their lights as well mas kydex battery holsters... I wish the Surefire USA site did this as well...

Not really sure. Its a generic holster. I think it was 9.99. Its a TAD bit too small. It doesn't snap closed. Barely that is.

What's crazy about paying $25 for a holster for a $100 flashlight?

Now you've already spent $10 and don't have a decent holster.

Buy either a SF or a Ripoffs holster, both are good.

I concur...you get what you pay for...love me some SF speed holsters! And don't forget the lifetime warranty you get with it!

I've already gone through three V70s. I don't know why, but I've had 3 of the retention springs break. Perhaps it's just from overuse? But SF has replaced it with a brand new one every time!

NovaTac clips willfit onto the 6P and G2 bodies but they will be loose and move around a bit.

Installing a thick 5/8-inch O-ring, the type used for plumbing fixtures, and then lowering the Novatac clip down on top of it; that helps alot in improving the fit.

I found a holder for a surefire 6P/G2 at Sportman's Warehouse for about $15.
