I'm considering picking up a Surefire E2L. Aside from not owning any Surefires or any lights with optics, I also really want a 17670 body tube to use with my Nitecore Extreme. I noticed however, that according to light-reviews.com 17670's will not fit in the E2L body. I now I've read about people using 17670's in their E2L's though. Has there been a change in the E2L or does it just take some modding to make a 17670 cell fit?

Sorry, I must have been in a hurry. :o I *think* the E2L uses the same tube, but someone else will be able to say with more assurance.
