Sunday afternoon I installed a Ramsey 5000# Honcho winch on our Kubota
RTV900. The new E2L cree came in very handy for all the under hood work.
Finished up the installation around 7pm followed by a 1 mile ride through the
2-track trails going through the woods on our property.
Fast forward to Monday evening at 10pm...
Wifey and me are taking our nightly Kubota ride when we spot a light ahead
in the woods. Thinking we have a trespasser on the property, I quickly navigate
the trail to find not a trespasser but a dirty run over E2L in the path still shining
through the dark of night.
It took me a few moments to put it together.
Sunday afternoon I closed the hood on the RTV with the light still on and pointing
down towards the winch mounting plate. Then took it for a test run where it
fell through the engine compartment and was run over and left for dead.
Returned to the house, rinsed it off under the faucet and all was fine, nothing
broken or tweaked.
So the winner is...in the red corner...the new Surefire E2L Cree!!!!
Did I mention the Kubota RTV weighs in at about 2100 pounds.
