Surefire KT5 Turbohead vs KT2?

I have an L7 and I found out that it's possible to get a KT5 and turn my L7 into a turbohead. Can anybody provide any kind of useful information about the KT5 turbohead? I did a search but it's like it barely exists. I found one semi-useful thread about it. I read a bit about it on the Surefire site though.

I also have a KT1 with an N2 lamp which I have attached to a 6P with an A19 adapter. In essence, a KT2. It's a nice setup. Very round beam from the N2 which I like a lot. Any ideas as to how the KT5 stacks up against the KT2? Beamshots?

The KT5 is the standard KT TurboHead with the adapter collar for the 8AX/8NX/L7

I have the KT5-BK.

For the L7, you'll need the KT5-HA.

The N5 and the N2 are similar beams.

Thanks for the info, Al. And although you are correct in guessing that I have the HA version of the L7, the Surefire site says that there is also a black version of the L7.
