I'm kind of surprised that this is still here. This seems like a very reasonable price for a classic. I tried to look up the stats, and I don't know the runtimes, but the Gen6 had a stated low of 10 lumens (which back then would have been brighter), and a stated high of 60 lumens (similar to an E1L). The clip could be replaced with a Lumens Factory 2-way clip if desired. If I didn't already have two Milkyspit-modded L1s of different generations, I would be thinking hard about this one. Yes these were rated at 65 lumens but all the tests showed 100 or even more. Pure white tint and a nice Hotspot. Back when surefire made good lights. They no longer make anything worthwhile as far as I'm concerned.

L1 came today. What a great example of the Surefire that was. Simple interface, bulletproof construction, rock solid reliability. Creamy white focused spot. Bright? In today's land of 3000 lumen flame throwers, maybe not so much, but definitely useful and reliable. Glad to have one of these back in my hands. Somebody please buy that LX2 so that I'm not tempted!!!
