Surefire L4 question

I imagine you can but I'll ask to be sure. Can you put a KL1 head on a Surefire L4 body? Are the thread sizes the same? I am thinking of giving my brother an L4 for Christmas but also have a spare KL1 head that I don't use much that I think would be a perfect accessory for the light for longer runtime situations.

Yes. The L4 & E2e bodies are the same.

What about the L1 head? Is it the same as the KL1 head meaning that it can fit on the L4 body?

Can't put the L1 bezel on the L4 or E2E body. Thread diameter is not the same.

The L1 head is made to mate up wiith only the L1 body. The reason for this is that some of the circuitry is in the body, and some in the head.
