Surefire LEDs and 17670 G2L

Has anyone successfully used a 17670 battery with a 2007 model G2L, or 6PL (LED editions of the classic Surefires?)

Have you noticed and performance problems? Or fit problems?

I use one in mine. Fits fine. I can't tell any difference in brightness, but that's just according to my naked eye.

I have one of AW's protected 17670s in my G2, and it fits and works great. In fact, the fit is better (i.e. more snug, no rattle) than 2X123As. From everything I've heard the G2L is identical to the G2 in all respects except the bulb, so you shouldn't have any problems. Bravo for (thinking about) going rechargeable!

Do you know what the run time is on the G2L, using an AW 17670? :thinking:

Can I get 3 hours on that?
