If they aren't LED why are they so bright? Are they the brightest lights of all? Do they compare to Lightwave lights?

Incandescent lights are the brightest lights in hand-held with the exception of HID lights which use an an electric arc to produce light. LED's are best for battery life and ruggedness they do not "throw" as far as better focused incans.
I would think most on this forum would say Sure Fire is far superior to Lightwave, except in battery life.
