EDIT: pics looks slightly deceiving.
HDS: Head and rotary knob are approx 1" dia
VME head is a hair over 1" at largest point
Bravo head is approx 1-3/16" dia
MD2 (MDX head) is 1-1/8" dia
MDC head is 1"dia

Bravo and MD2 bodies are 1" dia
MDC 123/16650 are 7'8" dia
Body on HDS I believe is also around 7'8" dia but could be a little off

2nd EDIT: I think I for got to mention a couple things if you are not familiar.
First off, if you go to the Malkoff Junky thread, or Elzeta thread, there could be much more useful info there for you.

Secondly: I am not familiar with surefire or your current model: Could it use the Malkoff drop-ins?
Along the lines of drop ins, for the M61(N) (3.4-9v range) you have some options
a drop-in like this will work in some surefire's, Elzetta Bravo/Charlie, Malkoff MD2, MD3 & [MDC bodies(w/VME head)] This will allow you to use 123's/16340, ICR 123, 16650, 18650 cells depending on what you want
