Surefire XC1 Failure - Second in a row

Anyone else had issues with the XC1? I got it a long time ago so I could conceal carry my P320 with a light. Right after I got it, I had an issue where if I so much as racked the slide, it would turn off.

Clearly, this is not good for a weapons light....

I got an RMA and the replacement seemed okay. Now a few years later, same thing again! At this point, I do not trust the light at all. Surefire sent me a new tailswitch which didn't resolve the issue. I asked them if I can RMA it for a different light, do you think they will say yes? Its really a worthless light at this point, and I paid a pretty penny for it. Even if they do send a new one that works, can I trust it? I don't think I ever will

Well, it seems Surefire is a standup company. I replied back to them with my concerns about the XC1 and that I will never trust it

They are replacing it with an X300

Glad to see they made it right to your satisfaction.

Every company is going to have some issues now and again. I've always felt that the important bit is how well you fix the issues when they happen.

That sort of service and warranty is always baked into the price though.
