Hey all, I was wondering what you folks thought of , or think of,, this oldie , Surefires 12zm Combatlight?? I located mine in perfect condition. Very clean , but I see that you may not be able to get the replacement bulb any more -- the N62 that pushes the 500 lumens. Any thoughts?? And if Surefire sold these lights why dont they have some bulbs for it in reserve??

Very nice and highly sought after...they go for about $200-$250 on the markeplace depending on condition. If I'm not mistaken you can use the M4 bulbs in them (M60 and and M61). :welcome: BTW!

(P.S. I have a few SF's I'd be willing to trade if you decide to part with it...)

A pic would be sweet to!

Welcome to CPF!

I've got one. I use a Lumens Factory HO-M4A LA. It puts out a gorgeous beam. I also run a MN60 LA. The beam is not as clean as the Lumen's Factory lamp. In fact the only downside of the LF lamp is it won't fit in my SC2.

I've got a few of them, but I sure wouldn't sell one for $200-$250.

My favorite light engine for it right now is a nailbender XP-G turbo tower. That turbo head throws a pencil beam with a hot LED.

For incans, I use a FiveMega bi-pin adapter, and usually an 1111 bulb on two 17670 cells, with an AW soft start switch.

I've got to confess, I'm envious. I kind of have a thing for discontinued surefire incandescents, there's just something about them that's appealing to me.

The N62 is a beautiful beam, for the first three-minutes on fresh SF123As/DL123As.
I usually wait for the right night in the autumn to get a white-light-high from my 12PM. Just the pick-me-up for the winter blues.

Two of mine are off to Oveready to be bored out for 18mm cells.
