I just wanted to share a pleasant surprise I had yesterday. I've been using a Logitech Harmony 550 remote (with four AAA Eneloops) for 4 to 5 years now and it broke.

Logitech let me purchase a new remote at 50% off to replace it so I picked the newish Harmony 700. It's advertised as being "rechargeable" by using a wall wart to connect the USB cable. When I opened the box yesterday it was the rechargeable batteries that were included that shocked me... two brand new Sanyo Eneloop AA's! Not specially wrapped or marked in any way, but two of the exact same Eneloops that I've used for years!

Now I got 98 of them!

It is really nice to see these great batteries being included with a device that is a perfect fit for them...

Wait. You have 98 eneloops? AA? :D

Yep! and 22 AAA's... I only have 7 AA's currently available... all the rest are in use already in anything that requires AA's.

Purchased all over a five year period... Most recent Eneloop Power Pack was delivered yesterday. My 5 year old Eneloops still complete the R/A cycle on the C9000 with between 1800-2100 mah capacity.

Best batteries I've ever had and now thats all I have...
