I love Nintendo. This, however is nothing to spend $ on. Build a gaming PC. Take your time and just piece it together. I've got 25+ years of experience proving what I just said to be true. Personal preference is a different thing. Again, I love Nintendo and always will I guess. But they have not made any real hardware worth using in a very long time.

I used to build my own enterered benchmarking contest did it all but I always at least had a case and psu and etc etc to start now id have to start from scratch lol. Plus last night I was playing Atari 2600 games I'm more about the game then graphics
^funny you mentioned that, I still like Atari too. Back in the 80s I took a class in software engineering. Early days of public classes of those sorts. I programed an atari-esque oval race track with multi player and bots. I miss those days.

I own a Switch, and I like my Switch. But the current price Policy by Nintendo is ridiculous.
I paid for Mario kart 8 55€, the Mario Kart World price is 79€. That is crazy.

I am not a gamer and admittedly know very little about them. In fact, I consider FPS and RPG's a complete waste of time. Furthermore, the games have become so increasingly woke with way too many girl bosses, minorities and fags, I would avoid them like the plague anyway. Having said that, have you considered the Steam Deck? The OS is based on Arch Linux and is mostly open source. You can play Windows based games on it, and it's much easier to pirate games as well. It's faster due to less bloatware, and the system is less expensive to begin with. Nintendo is completely locked down, and they can brick the damn thing for failing to use a proprietary accessory. They make it clear in their T&C's, you own nothing but a license that can be rescinded at any time. If it were me, I wouldn't trust Nintendo.
