I was thinking about a tailswitch. I'm designing a light to primarily be used as a headlamp with a remote battery, but was thinking that it would be nice to be able to remove the tailcap and replace it with a body designed to hold alkalines. A Kroll or something along those lines would be nice, but I'm unclear on how they work and whether they could be adapted for this app. All I know for sure is I want to use a quality piece. Any advice would be appreciated.
