How decent of a light is the TACM 3? Looking for a nice 123 incan that is small and waterproof with excellent throw. This will be a addition to my Arc 4 as edc. Runtime isn't critical. Close-up artifacts in the beam will not bother me. Looking for alternatives to the ASP and a UKE 2L. Thanks in advance and all opinions are appreciated. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The TACM is a good light. Will out throw just about every otherr lithium powered light available.

Unfortunately, the plastic lens used melts pretty easily.

At 105 lumens this light is more powerful and a better thrower than the 6P, it is also smaller and lighther.
I have't run one enought to melt a lens, but once I did melt a plastic red filter that was on top when the light with a remote pressure switch activated in my pocket.
I use them as gun-lights in my rifles and I am very happy with the way they take recoil.
I have 5 of them, BTW they use a lamp assembly very similiar to the P-61

Does anyone know if the TACM III will out throw a Pelican M6 or Streamlight TL-3? Also, any good online links to buy them?
Thanks
