Tap Size for Kroll Switch?

I am looking at modding a few Dorcy Spyders and will replace the crappy Dorcy switch with a screw-in Kroll switch.

Does anybody have an exact tap size for the Kroll? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif

I believe it is 5/8-28.

Check the threads on the Arc LS's (clickie model), and the mini mags. Take to a good hardward store where they can measure, or to a machine shop.

Where can one buy the 5/8 -28 tap? I haven't had much luck searching. Anyone have a link to where one can be bought that is not included in a kit?

i believe travers has various tap and die sizes, commonly used in flashlight.

Has anyone had this done at a machine shop? Probably not too high a cost to do a simple tap job...or so I would hope.
