Taxes !!??

I recently bought 2 Arc AAA's and 1 Newbeam from Pocketlights.
When the postman delivered the package at the door I had to pay € 30 extra (taxes, border controll,...)
Is this normal, 'cause I've never had this before!

btw , how do you get the "Euro sign"?

What is the "Gr"? Is the "E" enter? How about the British Pound symbol?
May as well ask, so as to learn.

Yes ,I do have a laptop
Euro: ALT GR (one button) and at the same time press the letter E.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Sabby, if your laptop has an embedded keypad accessable with a Fn or function key, you can hold the Fn, ALT and type the numbers to get the characters.

Bart. I was told that Alt+156 is for the Pound. Does not work for me. I also do not have the "Gr" key.
This is getting interesting. I have long wanted to use the correct symbols for currency.

Did you try typing the "156" on the numeric keypad, rather than the number keys at the top of the keyboard?

Did a quick search, and found out that the "Alt Gr" key usually is the right "Alt" key.
If Alt Gr + E doesn't work, try Alt Gr + 5 .

I tried both, but both failed in the quick reply window...

I used the top. Let me try the pad. 156...no go. I'll have to try at home. I am on a X-term right now.

Maybe it's a version thing... Altough I've upgraded faithfully...
