Anyone knows any sticker that indicate temprature and small enough to put on AA batteries? Just curious if such thing exist at all.

thanks.

If you just need to estimate how hot these batteries are getting, I do have one trick I use in our lab when heating liquids.

If something is too hot to comfortably hold in your hands for more than a few seconds, it is hotter than 60'C (140'F for those who don't do metric).

If I were going to measure temperature of batteries frequently, I'd get one of those infrared thermometers that you point at a surface and it reads the temp.

Ive seen such stickers in fish tanks. But they might not work on high enough temperature.

Try a heat treating supply house. If it helps they make both small stickers and a paint pen (TempeStick) that will change color at specific temperatures. They won't give an exact temperature but it will tell you if a given temperature has been exceeded. You could use several and bracket various temps.
I am not sure how low of a temperature they are available in.
