i want to build a test heat sink for a SSC P7 to optimize the beam before i make the actual heat sink for the light.
would this be a sufficient sink to run a P7 at 2.8A?
all measurements in mm, will be made from a 120mm long aluminum rod

I'd think so, THe aluminium will transfer hte heat well.
The cooling ribs will transfer the heat to the air.
I would give it a try.
