The Beast is a SureFire work-in-progress. A concept.
It's a HID flashlight that has evolved over the last year or so and continues to do so.
There is no production plan.
Two Beasts were at the SHOT Show 2003 - one of the latest gen and one which strobed.
The technology is getting there. I guess SureFire want to have performace which justifies the size of the Beast.
